Update on Canine Compliance Program: October 10, 2019

The new Drug Detection Canine Compliance Program is approximately two months from implementation.  The annual requalification process has already been in operation almost a full year, and two new test sites were added for 2020.

In an effort to consolidate all drug detection canine training related information, ILETSB has created a new webpage specific to these related matters.  All previous canine related notices have been removed to avoid any confusion.   The new webpage, found under the Training tab on the ILETSB home page, will be available for review in the next few days.  Although implementation of the new standards will not take effect until January 1, 2020, forms and information will be available for review and download.   Please direct all Canine related questions to Patrick.Connolly@illinois.gov.

Questions or issues regarding registration for new Drug Detection Canine Teams, or requalification scheduling,  can be directed to Director@LETAC.org.
