The web-based Law for Police course is available through the Online Learning Network administered by the ILETSB Executive Institute at Western Illinois University. 

Please go to www.ptblearning.org and select "Request Student Account" for the officer seeking a waiver. The officer must have a unique email address to create the account. Account requests are approved within 24 hours Monday-Friday. Once the account is approved and the Board places a copy of this letter on file with the ILETSB Executive Institute, the officer will be automatically enrolled in the Law for Police Course. Enrollment will not take place if 1) an account has not be created or 2) the letter is not on file from the Board. This course is ONLY for employing agencies seeking a waiver.
